With that money, I'd buy a Tesoro Silver uMax and get the 5" sniper coil and 3x18 clean sweep coil to go with it. I'd also buy a Garrett Propointer. Pick yourself up a screwdriver for digging and a nail pouch from a hardware store and you're good to go.

I would go for a used minelab x-terra 50 or 70 or a new 505 series with the 6" HF coil also I would try to get a good used Whites M6.

I think some one is trying to make a bad joke....... There is no ..08 .. My self i have a minelab Sovereign and the Garrett AT Pro and Garrett 1500.......

It is the Omega 8000 by Tecknetics. A very good coin shooter, but I prefer my Teknetics Gamma 6000 for the same purpose. an outstanding machine for the 500 bucks I gave for it, without some of the EMI sensitivity issues some people are having with the O8..
