Ok I two years ago I broke down and bought a Garrett Pinpointer. Last year it would not turn on the button went bad so I had to send it back in. Two I got out the detector and pinpointer and the dang thing will not turn on right. When I push the button it stays on beeping. Has anyone else every had any trouble with their pinpointer like this. I just wondering if this is normal for these pinpointers......Matt

When the batteries get low it will let out this awful shrieking sound. It's not the normal beeping sound. You'll know it when you hear it that something is not right.

Only used mine a few times so far,
But the rubber cover on the Button
had Dislodged a few times.

Perhaps dirt got in yours
or the Rubber Cover has wedged the Button
partially in the on position
