Playgrounds
Most of the Parks I go to have the steel posts for the playground equipment. Normally my XS starts beeping if I get within a foot of these post. Any tips on how I can stop this interference? I'm missing a lot of potentally prime areas.

Re: Playgrounds
There are three ways to do this.
1. Don't use a detector.
2. Use a smaller coil.
3. Turn down sensitivity a lot. You'll still reach down a good ways since the detector isn't messing with much ground matrix.

Re: Playgrounds
Another possibility is to get a Sunray Stealth X-5 coil
It is kind of expensive but opens up new areas where the stock 10.5" coil doesn't work.
