Northern California Metal Detecting Clubs

I am in Northern California...not far from the Foothills and Sacramento.

I am new to Detecting and wanted to know if anyone had any Clubs they could recommend to Join.

Interested in:
Nugget Hunting and Old Coins.

Any help is appreciated.

"SVDB" Sacramento Valley Detecting Buffs club. They have a website with their meeting dates, times, info, etc.....

 

[Cool Hand Fluke]

Sonoma County Coin Poppers in Santa Rosa. Meets every second Tuesday of the month at the Leasure Mobile Home Park club house in Santa Rosa at 7pm.

Also, the Mendocino Lost & Found, meets every second Thursday of the month at the Ukiah Airport Club House at 7 pm.

Both clubs have about 25 members.

Sorry on the clubs but since you are near Paradise you might be interested in what happened to jerry I will be going out there from Little Rock in a couple weeks now to try and narrow down the area I believe it lies. Will post my data here and at my web page.
