I have found quite a few silver rings. Gold rings aren't a problem but, when it comes to silver I'm pretty much ignorant. Any tips out there about how to tell a ball park value of a silver ring?
In general silver is not expensive,I think we all agree on that.Unless it is "old"silver, certain hallmarks on a piece can make it more valuable. As far as rings go I don't know, unless it is old native american made ,then it might be worth something.ANYBODY ELSE GOT ANY ADVICE FOR MICHINKAE?
They have two values the jewelry value and the melt value.? The melt value is strictly what the silver or gold is worth per weight right now it is around 7 dollars an ounce.? it is worth more as jewelry if you can find some where to sell it at. most will be stamped .925 or sterling silver.
