ACE 250 and roman coins or older celtic??

Just read a post that ACE 250 tells that older roman coins are junk metal?
How were these coin made? Have anyone found really old coins example older russian coins with ACE.
And I mean like 1000 years old coins or older ?

I know, dig all the targets and you go best. But there must be some explanation how Ace 250 read targets?

How deep it will find a coin?

i have found US pennies at 8 inches with my ace, but most coins i found with it were in the 4 to 6 inch range.
