Mo Mo: coins at 3'? Your only a dreamer, aren't we all !
Now a can at 3' is possible with a Whites sierra madra and the large optional coil. It is rated at 5'. A 2 Box will pick up that can at 3' on a good day in reasonable soil. Frank

Lot of detectors will find a can at 3 foot, don't know of any that will find a coin at 3 foot, if there was one I would own one myself, if it could see a coin at 3 ft it could see a ring at 2 foot.....

If they put a big 30" loop on a pi it might work for single coins and rings. Can you imagine digging it?!

http://www.makrodetector.com/?t=Jeotech+LED+System&mod=product&Cid=131&setLg=1

Unlike some of the other 'Deep Detectors', this one will split metals into three divisions.... "Ferrous, Non-Ferrous and Steel". Will pick up a coin VERY, VERY deep, including cavities, etc, etc...

Should be just what you need. Around $5500.00 US Dollars.

Cheers,

HELLO ,,,,,

In other words , the smallest object (coin<can of soda) could be detected in the maximum depth possible ( 0 and 3 feet ) not more .

MAKRO DETECTORS, Whites sierra madre , seems will do the job but is there any other products ! ! ! ::)

Thank you all guys :blob1:

Re: :::. BEST M.D FOR SMALL OBJECTES IN DETECION DEPTH(0<3ft) .:::

I read about someone using a Minelab GPX-4500 that found 2 coins over 200 years old, 1 with good beep at 20" & one with iffy beep at 22". The new price of $4,500 wouldn't be worth it for coin hunting in most locations, of course.

There are reliable reports of coins found to 15" with a few of the $1,000+ units.
This is probably rare overall & impossible in some ground types.

Most popular detectors are being counterfeited by a man (small company) in Singapore, 3 for the price of 1, assume no warranty, performance & construction suspected by many to be inferior. Just saying to be careful whether buying used or new. Best wishes, George (MN)

HELLO ALL ,,,

Thank you a lot George (MN)

But we are not looking only for singls coins , but for other size of objects too (coin < can of soda) .

I read in other topic that If a potential coin hoard big as fist in the ground on depth 2 or 3 feet, the 2-box MD (White's TM808 . . . e.g) will not see it .

Great topic "Swartzie" , very helpfull indeed .

Despite the regulation obstacles , you will hope to hunt treasure in my country "jordan" , there is many hidden locations that never been detected yet , i'am not talking about single coins , but for a lot bigger than that ! ! ! ! :icon_sunny:

MO MO: search Accurate locator. They make deep penetrating PI units and blanket coils that might be just what you are looking for. Frank
