Very nice! Are these from public parks or private land? As Michigan Badger pointed out, I'd be lucky to get that much stuff in a year. So either you are doing something right or I'm doing something wrong! ;D

Dude! That 1877 seated half is awesome. Not many people can say they have found one of those.

Wrong attitude, MTS. Matt is doing it right and you are doing it LESS right. I can see by Matt's collection of finds that he is using LESS discrimination. The nickels and lead weights indicates that he is using less disc and digging more of the LOW END targets. LESS disc... MORE digging.... MORE keepers. Hang in there, MTS, just re-think the settings on the machine. TTC

Fabulous finds for one week of digging. :headbang: Love the silver and gold, especially, but the matchbox cars remind me of my childhood!!

You must be doing something very right!!

Matt, I will not ask for the exact site.... but, what city (at least) did you do the hunting? What kind of site? I have found several matchbox cars but usually in bunches near homes. No more need to describe the finds... but a little more on the site would be exciting for most of us. TTC

Sorry so late getting back to this post. I have done most of my detecting in this 6 days at beaches. No special place. I get in the car and head in one direction go until I find a lake and drive around it looking for the beach. The matchbox cars most was found in the sand and a few was in the water. In this week I hunted in Ohio, Indiana and Michigan........Matt

Good point, I am detecting on the beach now with a PI machine and dig it all, find more trash but a lot more keepers than ever.
