I would just like to send out a thinks to all the people on here. The posts about troubleshooting MD problems is great. Mine was not working and a simple suggestion in other threads said to use higher end batteries. Man did that save me. I was using a new batter from the dollar store, had juice to it (used the tong test), but the MD would not turn on. Then I bought new batteries, and bam it turned back on! I just think it is great how much help is out on this form. Helps prevent unnecessary "repairs". You guys Rock. Also the tips on how to zero in on targets better using my MD has been great also.

It was the Bounty Hunter Sharpshooter II. I had pulled it out of winter storage and put in new batteries from the Dollar Store. It never dawned on me that the cheap batteries were the problem.
