    Re: Any Mexican detectorists??

Hi prodrigsr and torrero to comment I'm also a member of Mexican treasure hunting forum; www.buscadores-tesoros.com and they have all the information about MD in Mexico. I live in Chula Vista ,California and I travel to Sinaloa ,Durango and Zacatecas constantly and is no problem transporting Metal detectors by airplane ,geting friends with the same hobbie in other coutries is good ,because they can go with you or help you w informing the best spots to MD. My next trip date to Mexico is in December 16 ,chrismas at my partners house in Sinaloa and then ,in January travel to Durango on a 9 hours trip and constantly triping to Zacatecas-Durango border grandmas old town, from the 1600 ,if you want to travel to Mexico ask first the safest places to MD on my country on this forum. The modern 10 Centavo coins are composed of stainless steel. They show up just above iron in the small foil range.

My AT Pro found one on the surface...otherwise I would have walked over it... has a VDI of 3-4.

So far I've found 4 Mexican coins. 2 1950's 50 Centavo pieces, a 1983 50 Centavo piece and the little 10 Centavo piece.

    What it says is ....
I am also interested ... in this topic
I am American, but I have a desire to go to the beaches of Cancun.

And by the way I am American born and bred, learned my Spanish living and working in Spain,
and if you want to know what I said just ask.
But there are lots of real Americans that may or may not speak English, this country is a melting pot,
has been and always will be, and I think there will always be people who don't like the idea...
I was using a skill I learned a long time ago, to have some fun here, sorry if it offended you.
