Garrett Scorpion gold stinger
Bought a used Goldbug 2 for $300 plus accessory's. Seems to be hardly used.
The question I have is that the coil is the 6.5" and is this small coil as useful as the
larger one?
Would having the small size coil work for general use. Most likely the Ms. will use the
unit. If not I will be looking for another coil.

Thanks for your advise.

The small coil works best for areas that are littered with trash targets or near large steel posts, etc. The larger coil is the most often used coil I would imagine. Monty

The smaller coil is good for trashy areas but mostly it is for better sens to to smaller nuggets. Larger coils just cover more area per sweep but have more trouble with tiny nuggets. Good Luck with it as it is a good detector.
