ill be moving down to the Sarasota/Manitee county area in flordia for the winter and was wondering if anyone knows laws reguarding detecting beaches and sites?.......do you need to get a permit?.....

Rich-Steve P here-I was down Tampa way last Christmas, They told me at Kellyco in Winter Park the Treasure Coast area is controlled by somebody that has salvage rights in that area all the way up to the surf line,and if you detect in this area in the water,there is a real good chance of getting arrested for tresspassing.You might try tampabaydetectors.com in Tampa.
