I guess you never saw the movie Casino, there are plenty of finds buried out in the desert :laughing7:


I would venture a guess these finds will date back to 1947 when things really got started :tongue3:

Most of us with detectors hunt on club claims or BLM land that isn't restricted.
Local GPAA had a hunt a while ago, I was out of town.
Getting a little toasty now, will be doing mine on the beach in Oceanside, CA where it is cooler.

I was surprised to find this sign posted in a Las Vegas city park on
a recent visit. This appears to be the rule in all the city parks there,
not just this one park. Note the last line (I cropped all the other
rules off that were below it). So beware.

In case it's not readable, it says, "NO DIGGING METAL DETECTOR SURFACE
FIND ONLY".

Bad punctuation and grammar by them, but a clear message.
