May I ask how you narrowed it down to those two sir?
I am pretty new at this and my last purchase was a Tejon. I had some trouble with the ground balance. Customer service was great but I dont have much patience, lol.

I have been looking into those two also but also had a Whites MXT Pro in my options.

I live in NC and my soil her is very high minerlized. (spelled wrong, I know)

I can only speak for the delta which is what i have. I am pretty new to this hobby as well but i do like my detector. Ive found all different kinds of coins all of which have been clad so far tho. After you get used to all the signals you can pretty much tell which ones are the coins before u dig them up. I know im not giving u a whole lot of information here, but if u do choose the delta i think youll really enjoy it.

i would definitely go with the delta, its an amazing coin finder with decent depth. never owned a f2 but i have had a f70 and i still prefer the delta for coin shooting. you will get your moneys worth.
