What I found near my college town's first settlement.

Well, unfortunately I was met with nothing but clad on the coin-front, but my hunt was not a total bust. I happened upon a car door lever, two porcelain mason jar lids, and some unidentifiable electric unit (that has rusted to no end). I'm starting to think that I'm in the right area for the older coins based on my finds... Yes?

Edit: A great, big thanks to anybody able to identify the mysterious mechanism.

The porcelain jar lids would have some age on them. Cant say on the rusty thing. Keep digging and time will tell.
