Hey guys and gals!
I went antique shopping with my wife today. We went to a small town just a little south of Saint Louis called Kimmswick. All I could think about was being let loose with a Metal Detector!!!
The town was founded in 1859 (Not the oldest town in the area, but this town boasts alot of history! Lewis and Clark even mention this town in their journal!)

There is alot of open space, lots of old standing structures and TONS of construction digging! If anyone lives within a couple of hour drive, I would highly suggest visiting this place! I plan on spending a few days hunting there as soon as my new detector arrives!
I am sure that a majority of the shop and landowners have had people MD their property before! I plan on donating anything of value that I find to the Kimmswick Historical Society Museum!
