Here in S. Korea I have to do some hiking most of the time, to get to the coin sites that I hunt. Many times the place I am hiking to doesn't have a coin site, so then have to walk the old mountain trails, looking for a cross trail, and hunt there.
I know what you mean......I have been doing this hobby since early 1970s, and the thrill is still there......everytime the machine beeps.
Love it when I make finds, or when I am just out enjoying nature.
