Tesoro umax bandido II 160$ good deal?

I have found a used tesoro for 160$ and am thinking about buying it looks to be in very good shape no accessories what do u guys think should i get this for my first land detector for WA state? im thinking this is a steal of a deal.!!!

I have had my Bandido II umax for over 20 yrs and still love it

$160 is a great deal on one of the best Tesoro units ever made IMHO

You can always make a counter-offer, you might get an even better bargain. I wouldn't hesitate to say yes to a used Tesoro...that's how I bought mine about 13/14 years ago.

Though you should take a look at the Compadre for the same price. It's one dial turn on and go simplicity. Or for a hundred bucks more the Silver Sabre Micromax.

is the compadre better then the bandido II? the bandido seems to have way more features i will be searching the mountains for coins and relics mostly i also found a garrett ace 350 they want 200$ tho. Any info much appreciated on what to buy thanks guys

The Compadre is a "lower end" model, but that does not mean it isn't as good as the Bandido.

The Bandido has more adjustments that you need to learn to really utilize it fully.

Simple or more complex...you decide...they will both work great
