Beautiful day for the Beach in So Cal.
Great day to go to the beach, was a nice 78 all day.
While it was nice outside, my detecting didn't go as planned. I spent about two hours detecting and didnt get even one hit. I decided to put the detector back in the car and enjoy the weather when my GF came back from the restroom with a green nickel. It was comical actually
Is that normal for beaches? I hunted dry and wet sands. I found several cuts that I spent quite a bit of time at. Even though I didnt find anything, i'm itchin for another day out.

Woah! 78°?! Isn't California supposed to be colder than Texas? Here it was 56°!

California is weird sometimes. 120 one week, 75 and raining the next. Thankfully this summer wasnt as hot as most, we had some scorcers but it was faily mild most of the time.

I agree, yesterday was a BEAUTIFUL day at the beach....One of the nicest I can remember. I found a nice silver ring too so that made it even better! Add about $1.30 and 3 pairs of sunglasses to the mix and it was a fun day also.

I have to agree. Days like those are what makes folks so envious of California.

Thats good to know. I was getting a bit discouraged with the beach hunting. I don't have a "beach" machine YET, hopefully before this time next year.
