15 years ago I dug up this little fellow, a silver rat pincushion. It was a bit battered so I got a friend to restore it for me. It was made by a Birmingham company called Adie & Lovekins of England and was dated 1908. I knew it was rare, as rats were never very popular as pin cushions, so I recently sold it at auction, this is what it made.

Well done! I'd be willing to play the Pied Piper if I could get rats worth that!

Congrats! Did it cost you to have it restored?

It cost £52 to restore, so a good result.

It seems you made out well on that deal. I hope you tossed a box of pins in for good measure :tongue3:
