Hi everyone

so....here it goes. I recently bought a Tesoro Vaquero through Ebay. I have spent the past few days going over and over the field ground balance procedure step by step. I get to the point where I find a solid hum without positive or negative jolts, and switch from all metal to about a 10oclock position (which I heard is good for the vaquero). After this, I get readings EVERYWHERE. Its really kept me from digging because I cant swing the detector once without it beeping. Ive tried this in multiple areas to make sure there isn't metal everywhere. What ive been doing just to try and find something is swinging once and then going back pressing the pinpoint button. I have found some old chains and barbed wire this way, because I can hear the tone raise high in pitch. My instinct tells me its not supposed to be beeping like it is. If anyone has any advice on what I may be doing wrong it would be greatly appreciated. I enjoy reading through the forums, ive learned as much as I have since from doing just that.

Thanks!

Whats your sensitivity set at? If your getting a churping sound back it down a bit. Make sure your coil cable is not loose waving over the coil. Check out the tuning videos on youtube
