The midlands of sc!!

I just recently got a metal detector and I was wondering if anyone would like to offer up some spots to relic hunt anywhere in the midlands of sc? I have several great places hunt, several old home sites on the out skirts of the midlands! I guess I'm just looking for newer places, you let me hunt yours and you can hunt mine! If interested just reply!

Tones of stuff in your area... Sherman burned a path from Savannah to Columbia, then on to Durham NC, so plenty to find in those areas. You could also try up near York in the Waxhaws. Better yet, look up the old maps from your county, and try to figure out where the old stores and homes were... if no one's living there, get permission to dig, and go at it. See if someone at the local library can help you figure out sites... often someone has done a history of your county, and will have maps. Just leave out "metal detecting" and they will be more open. Say it's your hobby to identify those kind of sites (which is not a lie).
