The Big Let Down!

When I lifted the plug out of the ground I see this eagle staring back at me. For a split second my heart felt like it had stopped. You can imagine my surprise when I flipped the "coin" over and read the writing on the back. My lip was probably sticking out far enough for an eagle to land on it!

I had the same thing happen to me with that token.

Found one about five years with one of those nice heraldic eagles on it. Slightly let down but still not too unhappy. A nice token. Around the eagle was found "PEARSON & DANA" "BOOTS & SHOES". The reverse read, "WHOLESALE & RETAIL". 184 LAKE ST. CHICAGO ILL". Found in a park here in nw Michigan.
