Traveling on airline with MD

I flew with mine over Christmas. I packed it well in a carry-on. No problems at all.

Thanks. I just know that not everyone understands this hobby and the tools used. My hand tools will obviously have to go in my main bag, but I didn't want to pack the actual MD in the back that'll get thrown around, no doubt.

Carry your electronic part and coil in your carry on, and your rods and diggers in your checked and there shouldn't be any problem.

My worry was the coil and electronics exactly. That's a good idea. Thanks for the help everyone. I'll let you know how it goes. At least I'm not going to board with a nail file.
