Hi again, not sure if this research location has been mentioned, but I thought I would list it just in case. Many counties, parishes if in Louisiana, have genealgical libraries. The ones I know are associate with the local libraries and are accessed with a regular library card. There are tons of local information there that is sometimes difficult to locate if you just try to find it with a regular search on the internet, but you can often find it at home with a search of the library if you are able to access the library from your home.
