Last week I got out with my ACE 250 around the property that the landlord says is 90 years old. I kept getting various strong signals underneath the concrete driveway. So...I hired a jackhammer and a good man to help me dig...there's bound to be something there!!!

Ok... this is actually my landlords doing... wouldn't you know... I threw my back out last week, and with all this fresh exposed soil, I can't bend over to save my life!

Anyhow, with all this digging I have done, this is pretty much all I have found...lots and lots of nails. Do you throw out your nails or keep them?

I'm wondering if the two items at the upperleft of picture is the seams of an old luggage box along with the lock?

Also, wondering what this item is. It weighs 21.5 grams. I thought perhaps a ball bearing or maybe a mini ball? Not sure what it would be doing here in Pasadena, CA if that's the case. A magnet does stick to it.

I did manage to finally find a 1920 wheatie after my detector mysteriously strayed off the property into the next door neighbors.

I also found a token along the driveway area before work started on it. Unfortunately, I over cleaned it with peroxide and it became heavily pitted.

Anyhow... thanks for looking! Your expertise is much appreciated!

At least you found something. You never really know about the iron readings. I don't know if the others save nails, but I have a couple buckets full of barrettes. Why I kept adding to them I have no idea.

Nice digs. I have found a few nails as well. I usually throw my nails in the scrap metal bin and take for scrap when the bin is full.
