It's tough in most cases that I have tried it. So much trash to get through. Use a small coil and go slow to pick through the garbage. Good Luck!

I just got my Sunray X5 last week. Maybe I'll use it and just go at a snails pace. I just found out they are also tearing up an old brick street near the office next week. Maybe I can get out there and detect it before they lay down the new stuff!

Definitely go for the brick street. If you look around the edges where the gutter was you'll be almost guaranteed to find some old coins that fell in the gaps between bricks.
