First Time Out Today!

Hey all! Went out for the first time today and hit a couple parks and a beach...just a bunch of garbage and a '91 nickel, so not a total bust!
Just figured I'd keep you all updated!

Don't get discouraged. This hobby is not as simple as listening for beeps and digging. Good thing too cause those "hunted out" places would really be hunted out.

I dug everything I heard, which from what I understand is the standard M.O. for a Bounty hunter.
And I'm not easily discouraged, that nickel made the whole day worth it!

Went back out for a bit today, back to one of the parks I hit yesterday. Found a '69 penny and a '65 dime! So close! just 1 year off! UGH!

Hang tough! I've been hitting a local park lately also. Usually getting 10 - 30 coins each time, but all clad. Have gotten an erotic token and a token from Aladdin's Castle. So keep on digging. Did get a couple of Indianheads at another park though, 1882 & 1899. So hang in there.

Thanks Coin Ranger! I needed the encouragement! Had a pretty bad day today, just a '99 dime and a bunch of bottle caps
But I will soldier on! Got a couple of places I'm gonna see about getting permission for, so hopefully they pay off.

We all get skunked at times, but that first silver will be a sweet find when it does come. It took me a month for mine, a nice 1916 barber dime.

Went out the last two days & recovered mostly scrap & a few trivial finds. Dime, Nickel, & a couple pennies. I also recovered a pair of children's school scissors & a few hot wheels cars. The oldest was 1982. I don't get discouraged either & also dig every hit lol!
