If the ground underneath the bleachers is earth/terra-firma, then that's a good place. But you'll have to go high disc, and use a small coil, since tabs and foil will be abundant (yup, kiss nickels and gold rings good-bye, and be content to snoop for silver and copper).

I always start in front of the cocession stands. Under the bleachers are trashy but can be rewarding. I have also had good luck in front of the stands the closer to the bucking shoots the better. I have got a lot of silver out of one older rodeo grounds. Another good place is old match race tracks. Try to get near the finish line. Many times there are several finish lines according to the distance they run. Good luck!
