Hunted a new site today. Not knowing what to expect I got goose bumps when I walked up to the place. It's in the middle of a hundred acre woods with two barns, newer small block one and large old one. The house is gone, foundation remains and the first thing I saw was the cellar hole on the side. The house was probably repaired and added to as the foundation looks like a mixed up mess. Spent about three hours there and couldn't come up with one stinkin coin, but did find this Military Victory Medal. Have permission to go there anytime so I'll give it another go. Word of advice the ticks are out.
The WWll Victory Medal was awarded to all service personnel who served between Dec. 7, and Dec. 31, 1946 in WWll and related events. The multi colored ribbon is obviously missing.

Great find man, so awesome when you pull things like this out. Wonder what your second trip will pull!
