Someone should sue CAT for making an excavator that is used in such an destructive purpose. Perhaps limits on the size of the bucket would have slowed the act to give time for someone to act!

It was protected by the government, so they had no right to do it...you must not have read the whole article.The land was bought by a contractor to excavate the stone out. It wasnt protected by the government so they had every right to do what they did.
Just like when I was still a logger we were cutting a property thag was just sold. The neighbor through a huge hissy fit bc we were cuttin close to his property. I basically told him this isn't ur property, if u like the was the trees looked u soulda bought it when it was forsale. The government or the historical peoole soulda had that land persevered.
