I still have so much to learn about this DFX but while searching the site of a school for orphaned children of Union Soldiers I found this:

I'm thinking .22? The "U" I've discovered stands for Union Metallic Cartridge.

Yeah, it looks like a .22 long. It's more common to find just the shell but full bullets aren't too hard to find in the smaller calibers. I give them to the police department to dispose of them. You're just asking for trouble trying to fire one like that and I wouldn't want to put a live bullet in the trash or my treasure chest!
