Iffy signals...might be just a little out of distance of you machine...might be a good target, or two,one bad and one good..you never know till you dig them.

If I get a consistent good signal in one direction and a jumpy, iffy signal the opposite way, I DIG!. If its jumpy both ways, I may dig, depending on what the V3i tells me in the all metal and analyze mode. Its something you have to expierement with and learn from, and to do that, you need to dig most iffy signals until you develop enough knowledge of your machine to tell the difference in trash and a deep good target.
