Good finds. The rock sounds like a "hot rock" which is a rock that contain metallic properties. Like magnetite, i believe. You'll find them occasionally along rivers or streams or near RR tracks. Congrats again and HH

Yeah my son and I just broke it open into 3 pieces and they all three set off the pin pointer but look like rock still. Thanks for the info. Probably right my friend
