I am going to Virginia in Nov. I am going on a metal detecting trip to the Montpelier, home of James & Dolly Madison. You get to work with the archaeologist on the site, and you stay at the same house that the Madison's owned. It is now owned by the Dupont family. I am looking to make a few stops on the way back to NJ. Does anybody have any information about stoping in the parks or any other places I might be able to hunt.
