Well took my girlfriend metal detecting for the first time the other day and she loves it. Definitely got me a keeper here;) she found two CW bullets and a heel plate. She is hooked. Going out again today to find some more relics. Happy hunting everyone.

LO you two are so funny :-) Hope luv has equipment on a par with yours. I stopped detecting last year due mostly to frustration - I was getting outgunned by the bf wiith his AT Pro while I dug crap with the EuroAce! Mind I am fascinated by what he has found and how well he learned the ins and outs of the AT Pro. So the deal is this: we're selling the EuroAces and buying me an AT Pro kit (inc pinpointer and I think water headphones) and he's going to learn me up on the Pro. Hope it works out for me as well as it's worked out for you two!

She is a very fast learner and I am amazed at how even the biggest amount of trash is somehow always a treasure to her

My wife likes it to. She'll like it even more now she's not just the digger j/k. We take turns. Now we have 2 detectors she's itching like I am. Bad thing she took my new one!!

*grin* my half-acre property is crammed with trash, my house was an operatinh one-room redbrick schoolhouse from 1879-1964, and there was another smaller log schoolhouse here probably put up around 1820 or so til it was replaced. So you're welcome to come and detect it anytime!

Also saw you're both into deerhunting...so are we, kinda. We dress up both us and our gear in camo and go to the good spots...only, as we're seriously into wildlife photography, we let the deer get away so we can shoot them again!
