I have a Whites V#i and been considering getting/making a stand for it (My headphones are wireless so that helps) there are several on Ebay. The standard one seem to be a piece of folded sheet metal that doesn't lift it much higher them the glue on things that came with it. There is also a PVC one that mounts by the box and seems to lift it higher. And then there is one that has two legs that drops down and it looks like that holds it the highest.

Any ideas/referrals you have will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you. HH

I have one that I use on my Sov. GT and it works great. Stable and gets the control box well off the ground. Oh yeah......it's PVC.

I probably should get one but I just set the control housing on my foot to keep it off the ground, while I dig a target.

I posted this on the White's board a long time ago...
Here is my low-tech solution to a shock absorbing detector stand.
All you need is one of those foam swim tubes and a velcro strap. Cut the tube to fit the width of the detector and make a velcro strap that wraps around the control box. Done!
