Join the club! lol This freeze is wearing out it's welcome!
Try asking on the NY section of the site. Some choose to hunt the easy spots, but personally I enjoy researching my own spots and gaining permission.

Most hunters are not going to share their great sites with you, or publicize a specific place on a public forum. Try to connect with a local club, research your area on old maps, and learn as much as you can about the kinds of places that might produce silver. Reading old posts on Tnet might help with that. Also starting looking for private properties that you might get permission to hunt, since most public places have been detected for the last fifty years and so silver is tough to find. Good luck.

You might think people will tell you where to find stuff, but it won't happen. You can still find silver & gold in places that have been hunted for years, but it takes knowledge and time to find it.
