cs stripped, us plate

Found these two items about 100 yards apart in a South Carolina camp.Apparently the plate portion was tossed down this hillside, after lead back was removed.Another hunt turned up its lead portion, more towards the hilltop.I can make out the U and some of the S in the lead.I was "really" surprised to find the lead portion,figuring it was used for bullets etc.I have read allot about cs soldiers stripping plates for lead.I was happy to finally find a example.happy diggin
