Finally got the chance to go detect after a long, long, long winter. Still have a lot of snow around where the sun doesn't hit all day, but ground is thawed in some spots.

I got a new 17inch WOT coil for christmas and finally got to use it. I went to nearby school that I like to hit when I need to go somewhere close. Don't know if it was the new coil or just went over the right spots. First coin was a wheat so a nice start. I ended up the day with only about 1 dollar in coins, but two wheats and a 1945 Merc and 1964 Roosevelt.

What is the year of the dog tag?

Dog Tag is only 1994, oldest one of those I ever found was one from 1953. Always cool to find things with a date on them.
