broke mine

any takers....
doesn't matter there under 10.00 it's just the point....Right
what do you do in the mean time besides use other detectors....

Clevise? Might be i'm only on my second cup of coffee but I cant picture what your talking about....

Addendum: Never mind the question I found the answer in another post.

My answer is that there is no quick way to fix it short of duct tape Without a picture to see what is broken and how what Idea's I have in mind just now will have to stay idle. Take to long to write them all down

That's why I keep a spare on hand. Many years ago (before I wised up) I broke one and had to make a wooden replica while waiting for a replacement part. It worked ok but it was pretty fragile looking so I had to be real easy with it.

Do yourself a favor and buy 2 new ones. When you break one, repair it with the second one and order another spare. Also try to be more careful with that instrument. I haven't broken one in 40+ years of detecting all over the USA. Frank...
