Today's hunt started out at an old picnic ground that was a total bust and let down. Me and my buddy then went to a camp ground and found nothing but a bunch of clad coins and one wheat penny. We only had a little time left to hunt so we went to another old picnic ground that was close by. Neither of us were having any luck. I had found only one new penny when I got a promising sounding hit at about 4 inches. I popped a plug out and was looking at the beautiful silver outline of a coin. My buddy said it's a quarter, but I thought it looked off. I cleaned it off and discovered it was a 1919 Canadian quarter. First Canadian silver. Good ending to a dismal day
