Found a site that was suppose to be an old slave plantation as well as a stop over for civil wars armies. Today it is a fishing spot and it mostly trashed with beer cans sinkers and fish hooks. But up in the hills I started finding real old thing. This is going to be a good hunting spot and it is huge.
Found this buckle and old silver plated pocket watch both have writing on them.
Hodges Bros on the back of the buckle and France on the front:
The watch has writing that says Alert Warranty 20 years:
Looks like the buckle is a civil war suspender buckle
