Sure hope that you are able to get this resolved, but this all may become a non-issue for you.... If you are importing a detector to a country that bans them, your customs agents may not allow it to enter the country.

Sorry to hear that but as jeff says there may be exclusions for family properties or you may get special permissions if you're not digging artifacts.

Hello everyone!! I just joined, because I'm a brand new novice at all this.

I already have a problem..
After I ordered my first metal detector, I learned that my country forbits its use!
I still would love to use it of course, but I might have to be not-so-obvious about it.
Does anyone have any ideas how to make it not-so-obvious? :)
Many thanks, t&k

I have been in your shoes - PM me and I'll give you my tips and advice.

I'm sorry to hear about your situation.I wouldn't recommend breaking the law myself. But If I was to tell someone how to do it I would suggest you buy a deus. Then get a cane or make a walking stick.Hook the coil to the cane or walking stick and put the controller in your pocket with an ear bud.Hit the woods.Seriously tho please dont get in trouble.
