What about Nexus detectors?

Hello,
i would like to share with you my concerns about Nexus metal detectors.
They argue that makes the search coils with total electro-magnetic resonance and high Q ,but how this is achieved?
Also they warrant detection depth 2 meters for a helmet in the ground(with the big coil). Is it true? so for a bigger
metallic box the detection depth will be 3 meters? with discrimination in this depth? and if the soil is mineralization
which will be the detection depth and the behavior of the detector?
Maybe somebody have Nexus detector to reply us?
Thank's in advance,Chris

No Nexus detector here, but What they said about the coil is basically that it produces an electro-magnetic field, as all coils do and the Q usually means quality. The only detectors that I have heard about that will go 6'+ are 2 Box detectors or some high end ( read that as expensive) PI detectors.

Yes,but i believe that a great null of search coils is likely to be with some technology. And in conjunction with a powerful transmitter to have more depth than other detectors of the market!
