Need more and better pics and esp. a pic of any attribution marks on the blade near the hilt.

Villagenut don't see any makers mark the overall length is 39 1/2 inches and the blade is 36 inches. Later I will inspect it for any stamps or makers mark.

There was some new construction being done and while digging the foundation it was unearthed about two feet under

It looks to be pre-earthquake no makers marks. I am assuming due to the blade it looks to be done by the old black smith style of beating the blade while it is heated. The brass scabbard looks hand made and it was found in port royal.
