Looks like it could be ultramafic rock. That's the source rock for lots of metals...chromium, nickel, platinum group, and others. Do a Google search, and bone-up on it.
Maybe you're on to something.

I even found one that looks like it has a bit of gold on it. I don't know if its real, Fools good. But it certainly looks goldish and nickel The museum said this one was likely sulfide ore. This is more of what i'm looking for more of.

Looks like Ultramafic rocks and one look like it has arsenic on it. I posted a picture of the rock I found and one I found online with similar chemical on it.
