Just got my new Garrett AT Pin Pointer in. Initial tests make me feel very good about purchasing it even though it's a first product run. Now time to work on a new leather sheath for my digger and carrot.

If you have the new Garrett Carrot chime in with your test results!

I we going to order this one also but I liked the new macro one a little better. Hopefully the snow goes away soon so I can put out a review for comparison. Here's to warmer weather 🍺

The picture on the box looks different than what you got.

It's just the other side.

The OP took a picture of the back of the carrot.

If you look at the box the design is one that has a molded grip which the actual pointer does not.

I love the name "Garrett Carrot". The photo on the box has a grip like "Mikeraydj" said; I wonder if this would be an improvement for gripping in the field?

Lol the Garrett Carrot is one I seen on another forum so I can't claim it but it sure fits!!

What you are seeing on the box is a picture of a hand holding the pointer which makes it looks like it has finger grooves.

This thing feels amazing in the hand. Lightweight but has a quality feel to it.

I'll post some testing results this weekend.

Zoom in on the box. It's someone holding it that is giving the illusion of a molded finger grip.
