I went to my old grade school the other day. Recently it was sold to a church, which in turn sold their old church building. The grade school property is almost two city blocks square, and was built in the 1940's. I attended there from first to sixth grade.
While I have not heard of anyone out detecting being ran off here in town from a property, I decided it was best to go in and just ask. I walked in and met two gentlemen, and proceeded to make my request. They immediately said okay, along with the obligatory "We get ten percent!" guffaws.
So now I have written permission, revocable at any time, and I don't have to worry about anyone harassing me. I am anxious to start and I am trying to figure out a good starting point. I'll be sure to post any finds.:icon_thumleft:

Very nice. Excellent that you did it right. It's just better that way. :)

I used to do that, but they have recently torn it down. Gonna build a new one when nothing wrong with the old one. Hauled in tons of fill and covered up whatever else was there. Hope I got it all! Who am I kidding!
