My nephew is over in China and shared these photo's. Talk about mass humanity, but there must be a lot of lost rings, jewelry, and coins to be found.

You'd definitely have to detect that place after everyone went home!

If everybody is earning $85 a month at Foxcom, I would imagine there would not be much there at all.
If that is where you would end up should you ever get deported, you would be a lot better off just walking through there pulling a 4 wheeled cooler selling chilled Mango on a stick.

I bet for every 100 gold rings you would find 1 would be real ...

I don't know about that, the Chinese like gold and with all ''Made in China'' crap that is sold over here I'm sure that our monies do get get back to them.

The Chinese wear 24k gold and use it as an investment in gold. You can buy 24k gold jewelry in Hong Kong (haven't been elsewhere in China) with a small markup over melt value. I have found it is less of a markup than bullion coins in US.

I would imagine anything you find there would be confiscated by their government.
Not much swing room, you'd have to detect in non motion mode.
Maybe the pin pointer would attract less attention.
